Brief: To revitalize a large two bedroomed flat in time for new tenants to move in.
Firstly as carpets had recently been laid, carpet protection was laid in the hall, the perimeters of each room were taped ready for preparation and dust sheets were used throughout. The decorative quality of the wallpapered walls wasn’t too bad. In some rooms the wallpaper had pulled away and were some damp areas needed attention.
Those areas were repaired and all the walls had just a single coat of magnolia over an existing magnolia finish. All the original timberwork was showing its age and any excessive damage, holes etc. were repaired. All the timberwork i.e. doors, box sash windows, architraves and skirtings’ all got an undercoat and a top coat of gloss.
The final result and attention to detail made the flat look light airy and welcoming.
